Apply or Make Payments for Your CareCredit Account
What is CareCredit?
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card with a credit line for treatments and procedures for your entire family, including your pets. It is a credit card designed for your health and beauty needs. With many of our promotional offers, you can avoid paying interest by making your minimum monthly payments and paying the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional purchase is not paid in full within the promotional period. Minimum monthly payments are required. Not all practices offer all CareCredit financing options, so check with your provider.
Where can I use CareCredit?
Your CareCredit credit card can be used at over 150,000 enrolled providers nationwide for services including Vision Care, Veterinary, Dentistry, Cosmetic Treatments, Cosmetic Surgery, Hearing Care and more. Once you have CareCredit you can use it over and over† without reapplying for you, your family, and even your pets!
How is CareCredit different from my other bank cards?
Save your consumer credit cards for household or unplanned expenses! Unlike your Visa or MasterCard, CareCredit is exclusively designed for healthcare services and you can avoid paying interest with many of our promotional options. Most of our cardholders opt for our shorter term plans from 6 to 24 months. With these plans, you can avoid paying interest by making your minimum monthly payments and paying the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance, including optional charges, is not paid in full within 6, 12, 18 or 24 months. Minimum monthly payments are required.
If you need more time to pay for your procedure, we also offer longer programs with a reduced, fixed interest rate. The fixed monthly payment amount is based on repayment over a 24, 36, 48 or 60-month period. Purchases of $1,000 or more are eligible for a 24, 36 or 48-month offer and purchases of $2,500 or more are eligible for a 60-month offer. Not all practices offer all CareCredit financing options, so check with your provider.
Is CareCredit an insurance policy?
No. CareCredit is a healthcare credit card. You qualify on the strength of your credit history. It does not replace insurance policies. Instead, it’s meant to help you pay out-of-pocket healthcare costs that may not be covered by your insurance policy.
I’m not sure I want another credit card.
Why do I want CareCredit?
CareCredit is designed specifically for your healthcare needs and wants, but once you’ve applied you can use it repeatedly† for anyone in the family, including your pets. Because it is not meant for all consumer purchases, you can manage your out-of-pocket medical costs more efficiently and avoid paying interest every time you use it. In addition, there are no up-front costs, no pre-payment penalties, and no annual fees.
To avoid paying interest, simply make your minimum monthly payment and pay your full amount due by the end of the promotional period. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance, including optional charges, is not paid in full within 6, 12, 18 or 24 months. Minimum monthly payments are required.
